Sigma Mixer consists of a square / rectangular trough curved at the bottom to form two half cylinders and a saddle section Housed in the trough are two mixing elements contrarotating towards each other. The mixing action is a combination of bulk movement, smearing, stretching, folding, dividing and recombining as the material is pulled and squeezed against mixing elements, saddle and side walls. The mixing elements are pitched to achieve end to end circulation.It provides facility of mixing alone or mixing combined with kneading/grinding/dispersion/shredding/drying operations.
